My Election Day Arsenal

I wasn’t planning on following the election too closely this year, but I can’t help myself considering the enticing tools available online. So here’s my online election arsenal for the day: I’m using Pollster.com to follow polling data (a couple of other projection sites are covered in Mashable’s 12 Presidential Poll and Electoral Projection Resources) and for twitter eye candy there’s the Election Results According to Twitter. The Ubiquity of Tribes & The Widgets That Track Them

It’s clear the Internet is changing our world as we know it and we’re starting to see a significant shift in the balance of influence. Twiistup, Social Media Camp & LA SummerMash Wrap-Up

The latter part of last week was a whirlwind for the LA social media / tech scene and it was oh-so nice to have the weekend to relax and finally put everything in perspective! Starting off the festivities, Thursday night was the fantastic Twiistup 4 at the Viceroy in Santa Monica, which certainly lived up to expectation, what with smart people, good conversation and walking on water (yes, it’s ok to be jealous).
